A one-month baby boy found in the bush behind Sharia Court of Appeal in Abaji, the Federal Capital territory last Friday has reportedly died in the hospital after several attempt to save him by the doctor.

It was gathered that a farmer found the baby wrapped in a cloth and drenched by the early morning downpour behind the Sharia Court while going to his farm.

A resident identified as Ibrahim, who spoke to Daily Trust, however, said the baby later died after he was taken to the hospital by officials from the Social Welfare Department of Abaji Area Council.

“Unfortunately the child later died on Saturday night at the hospital and I believe it may be as a result of the heavy rain that he baby was left in. I wonder why some women are heartless, if not, why not keep the baby where people can easily see it instead of in the bush,” he said.

The Abaji Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Umar Musa, said he was alerted that a baby boy was found dumped in the bush behind the Sharia Court in the area.

He said police officers were deployed to the scene and conveyed the child to officials of the social welfare department of the area council, adding that they were investigating the incident.

“But I am not aware that the baby has died if not now that you are telling me but I will find out from the social welfare department,” he added.

Members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, residing in Japan, have been reported to have demanded a DNA test on President Muhammadu Buhari, as they stormed the supposed residence of the President in Japan.

President Buhari has been in Japan for the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7).

The Biafra separatists group, who had earlier threatened to arrest and disgrace the President while in Japan, were reported to have taken their protest today to the lodge of the President.

According to reports that the IPOB members stormed the Nigerian embassy with Japanese police just to carry out the test for confirmation.

In a video sighted one of the IPOB members said : “Buhari has no right to sit with Japanese Emperor”.

“We just want to do a DNA test. If he is the actual Buhari, then we will leave but if he is not the real Buhari, we will arrest him”.

Buhari missing in Japan – IPOB claims

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Monday claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari was yet to arrive Japan, 24 hours after departing Nigeria.

IPOB stated this while rubbishing the pictures making the round of Buhari in Japan.

Buhari had departed Nigeria yesterday for Japan to participate in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama, August 28-30, 2019.

However, IPOB claimed that the Presidency was deceiving Nigerians with those pictures because Buhari was not in Japan.

IPOB stated this in a statement titled: “The Grand Deception has Begun: Jubril-Buhari Still Missing in Japan over 24 Hours after Departure from Nigeria” and signed by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful.

Wondering why there was no video coverage of Buhari’s arrival, the separatist group insisted that the photographs of the President in Japan were photoshopped.

The statement reads: “As with previous photoshopped visit of the impostor Jubril Al-Sudani on behalf of the dead Muhammadu Buhari, the much-publicized presidential visit to Japan has kicked off with another round of deceit, well-crafted lies and photoshop.

“We must recall the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, issued a statement a few days ago regarding this visit. In that statement he said and I quote, “President Buhari will be accompanied by governors Babagana Zulum, AbdulRaham AbdulRazaq and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Borno, Kwara and Lagos States respectively; ministers and other top government officials.”

“Yesterday Femi Adesina went ahead and published photographs allegedly taken inside the presidential jet as those mentioned above sat with Jubril-Buhari on their way to Tokyo.

“More than 24 hours after the widely reported departure of Jubril-Buhari presidential jet from Abuja and without any confirmed landing at Tokyo airport or elsewhere in Japan, where IPOB had camped waiting to receive him, shockingly another set of pictures have emerged from Aso Rock claiming to be pictures of Jubril-Buhari being welcomed by a group of Japanese, this time Gov. Ortom makes a mysterious entry as part of the entourage.
Incredible! Which country on this earth welcomes a head of state with a banner?

“Gov. Ortom that wasn’t mentioned as part of the original entourage has miraculously appeared in Japan seated to the left of the Foreign Minister Geoffrey Onyeama. The world can now see how fraudulent politicians have been deceiving gullible Nigerians with their photoshopped pictures over the years. The public should not be deceived, Jubril-Buhari is not in Japan and if he is, he is in hiding. He should come out to address the people or make known his presence

“Note, there is no video coverage of him being welcomed to Japan as protocol demands but out of the blue pictures have emerged of a 45-year-old man claiming to be Buhari, all smiling, in an undisclosed location somewhere they claim is Japan. Where is NTA News? Nigeria is a country founded on lies and will die by lies.

“Aso Rock should stop hiding Jubril-Buhari, they should bravely announce or disclose where he is staying as every genuine head of state would. They should proudly tell us where their Sudanese president is hiding that we may give him proper IPOB welcome.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has been described as “the man who can’t find his WAEC” by political activist, Deji Adeyanju.

According to the fierce government citric, the country was in a “very bad place” given that the same man who could not account for his WAEC certificate, presides over the ministry of petroleum and of course the country’s apex bank.

“The man who can’t find his WAEC is Minister of petroleum and also controls the Central Bank. He determines who gets forex or not. We are in a very bad place.” tweeted Deji

The man who can’t find his WAEC is Minister of petroleum and also controls the Central Bank. He determines who gets forex or not. We are in a very bad place.

Buhari’s WAEC certificate has been a subject of controversy since his emergence as the president. There have been many versions to the story; from leaving the certificate in the hands of the military, having to “manufacture” a statement of result, to the examination body finally providing him an original one.

The issue of WAEC certificate is also one of petitions against the president by his opponent, Atiku Abubakar, at the presidential election petition tribunal.

According to reports in Marca, Barcelona could be set to sign Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate in Juventus Rodrigo Bentancur as another reinforcement for their midfield.

The Serie A giants have been trying to offload players in this summer transfer window and, even though the Uruguayan midfielder wasn’t initially one of those players, he could now be on the march with the La liga giants showing strong interest.La Gazzetta dello Sport also reported that Bentancur could leave Turin for 60 million euros (₦25 billion), revealing that discussions are at an advanced stage and the Catalan club had been eyeing him since the end of 2018.Bentancur arrived at Juventus from Boca Juniors in 2017 and has established himself since, particularly during the 2018/19 season. Boca Juniors are owed 50 percent of any fee Juve receive for Bentancur, meaning they could collect 30m euros this summer.
